Georgie Louise Harris investigates the 'The Stranger'. She is intrigued by the long lasting relationships caused by (not so) fleeting moments, between herself and an 'other'.  The 'other' can be considered as another person, an object, a location or herself. Her artistic research has further developed to focus on the displacement of home in terms of emotional and physical architecture, language use and it connotations and sentimentality regarding objects and geographic locations. These three forms of displacement as a whole contribute to the overall concept of home where Georgie has spent the last 5 years researching it's necessity within an ever globally changing community. Georgie uses society’s stereotypical judgments and assumptions and combines this with her own struggles as a migrant to define the concept of home for herself.
In essence she makes The Stranger not so strange.
