New art works produced through a series of exchanges between young recently
graduated artists in Oxford and Leiden, will engage with the public via exhibitions
and related activities in galleries, museums and the public space in Oxford and Leiden.

THE FLOATING NATION
Everything that we know to have a solid form, something that we can hold on to
or pin point is no longer the only possibility within the now. It happened without
a revolution or any big change, it was a transitional progression that happened
as result of globalization, which has lead to a change in the mind set.
There is no fixed starting point everything is intangible and changeable.
We are letting go of the norm along with expectations, judgments and stereotypes.
Being open for multi and/ or new interpretations creates room to let go of these
notions and transform them to something intangible: a state of mind. Within this
state of mind there is the space let go of traditional thoughts and creates new
ones, which are, less fixed, changeable and dynamic.
This state of mind is the Floating Nation
